8.4/10 Very good! (4,023 reviews)
Great location, but the room experience was disappointing. The location was probably the best part of my stay. It’s very convenient for exploring Montreal, and the lobby was also nice and gave a good first impression. Unfortunately, the room itself was disappointing. The shower setup was terrible and very uncomfortable to use — probably the worst hotel shower I’ve experienced. The room also didn’t feel particularly clean, some of the furniture felt cheap and unstable (especially the table), and I wasn’t a fan of the bedding, which also felt quite cheap. When I checked in, there were no towels in my room. Reception handled it fairly quickly when I contacted them, but there wasn’t really an apology or much concern about it, which made the customer service feel a bit lacking. The elevators were another annoyance, as the wait times were consistently long throughout my stay. Overall, the excellent location is the biggest positive, but the room quality, cleanliness, shower, elevators, and service could definitely be improved.

9.4/10 Exceptional! (1,677 reviews)
Great spot! We were a group of 6, and stayed in the presidential apartment. Lots of space and the rooms were clean. The amenities were great, we enjoyed using the pool, gym and hot tub. The front desk staff were very busy. We arrived before our check in and stored our luggage in the lockers provided. When it was time to check in, the front desk staff were unable to get our luggage, as there was a long line up of guests trying to check in. They asked us to come back in an hour. More front desk staff would avoid this issue.
